I finally got some shots of Osiris laying on my pregnant belly, keeping the nest warm!  LOL  He just loves to lay there and will do it any chance he gets.  Here is is:

I am now 37 weeks and feeling a bit like a giant marshmallow.  Osiris wants to play all the time and I am having a hard time finding the energy because I feel so huge!

And just 'cause, here is a pic of a deer on our proch.

Osiris has already bonded with the baby. My bet is he will be your kiddos shadow for the rest of his life. These are such great dogs and they love kids.

Great pics! I got Buck when my son was 3, once Buck reached maturity, he never left my sons side when outdoors. I have a fenced yard & could came inside the house & not worry (for a few minutes) as anyone who came near the fence was strongly warned to stay back unless I was outside. If I was out with them , Buck never made a sound & wouldnt even get up if someone approached the fence!! He would even bark at my neighbor who he knew if I was not out with them.
On the other pic.....mmmmmmmmmmm, backstraps!! (sorry...had them for dinner last night with sauteed shrooms and onion & they were awesome!!)

About the deer - we have been having an increasing problem with the population in our neighborhood. They are everywhere and the residents are getting annoyed. They are planning a controlled cull next month - I know it needs to be done but it still makes me sad. When they are bold enough to be on people's porches during broad daylight, its an issue.

And about Osiris, I have been loving him "nesting" on my tummy! It's so cute!!

We found these two in our yard this morning.  I like having them around, but we don't have a garden or proper lawn for them to destroy.

Driving on my way to work I spotted this guy.  I'm not sure if he was on the prowl for deer or looking for his friend who I almost hit earlier because he was running down the middle of the road toward me.  I thought it was a stray dog, but as he got closer you could tell it was a coyote.
