Bairas heat has finally come to an end so I took her back to the stables this morning. Now, she has been walked every day over the last 3 weeks but it's not the same as being in acres and acres of open fields is it! She ran and ran and ran and ran like a dog that had been crated up for 3 weeks. She didn't stop to say hello to the other dogs who chased her for a while and then gave up, she didn't stop to sniff or point she just ran and ran like something possessed. 6 hours this went on for, I don't think she stopped once. Needless to say she's now flat out, dead to the world in her crate - LOL

They really need to get it out of their system - and it's such a joy to watch!

To live without dogs would mean accepting a form of blindness. [Thomas McGuane]
