Thanks Bev! Some corrections are in order though. For the GSPCA there are two committee chair positions that act as the board's representatives for Obedience/Rally and the other for Agility -- they also are the liason with the NSS Planning Committee on the board's behalf, and review any plans for agility and/or obedience activities conducted by the national club -- for Agility the chairwoman is Stacy Moss. Eleanor is also in charge of the GSPCA P-ROM program for recognition of performance sires and dams. There is a C-ROM and the GSPCA is very close to issuing a F-ROM (Field ROM) -- ROM stands for Registry of Merit. Also, I think Eleanor is headed up the "strike force" to ensure the Obedience criteria for the Hall of Fame (HOF) is recovered and reinstituted.
Second, I am involved, and have been the National Specialty Show (NSS) Trial Chairman for Agility several times (as an aside, Eleanor was the agility chair in 2004) and last year I was the trial chair for the 2009 NSS agility, obedience, and rally. Last year Tana Rugg was the tracking chair with a lot of help from my wife Karen. So the picture of you with the HIT trophy included me as I was the Obedience trial chairman
I am the GSPCA Versatility Chairman, so those multi-discipline GSPs getting VC, VCA, and VCX certificates all come from the printer at my house
This year the 2010 NSS Trial Chairs are Dorothy Thompson (Obedience, Rally) and Todd Knoff (Agility). Tracking will not be offered at the 2010 NSS (it will be too hot).
Thanks for the kind words
