Same stuff. There is only one Murphy's Oil Soap. It worked very well and didn't over dry or soften the coat. Since I show coat is important. I used to bathe my dogs a week out before a show because so many shampoos soften the coat too much. Murphy's Oil Soap did not do that. So far, I am liking it.

Cooper is 3 and has had maybe 1 bath.  Penny is 2 and probably 2 baths.  They are inside dogs.  If they do get into something, I wash that area, but it isn't very often.

only when Wolfgang gets really dirty do I bathe him... He's had 3 baths since June. He LOVES getting a bath, so that is not an issue. He really doesn't stink at all -- even after he gets soaking wet. I use only Joy dish soap on him -- it really works well!

Never bathed Bo. His butt got washed a couple times when he "objected" (read -- expressed his anal glands) to rough handling by an overly aggressive dog groomer clipping his nails. (First time, I thought it was Bo just acting up. Second time it happened, we never went back.)

Razzie has only been washed once with us -- when she rolled in some fresh (what had to be) human poop in the forest. Blech! (I used my organic dish soap in lieu of anything else.)

Gracie's probably been bathed three times...she's about 14 months old.  I love the "wash and wear" quality of the GSP.  It's pretty rare she gets stinky enough to warrant a bath.  Like others, it is usually because she rolled in something NASTY.

We use AVODERM.  I'm a pretty big fan of this stuff.  It smells good and doesn't seem to irritate the skin.

We give Koda a bath fairly often, especially during the rainy winter when our house is surrounded by mud. She needs a bath now. When it's too dark or cold out to give her a bath (we have a hose outside with warm water), I wipe her down with a wet towel. Otherwise it's about once a month or so. My boyfriend never liked the dog smell so he always thinks she needs a bath. We use a puppy shampoo, but it tends to give her dandruff. I will try the Murphy's soap.

Also, she doesn't love the bath part, but she loves to get wrapped in the towel and held afterwards.

Buddy gets a bath about every 2 months unless he really needs it, although in the summer months he swims everyday. Here's something funny, I tell my guest and neighbors to smell him, they give me that look like what the heck, I tell them he doesn't smell like anything, there always amazed when they smell him and smell nothing and we wonder how than can be?
