Little girl has arrived, just got a few pics with my phone for now.  Buddy was alittle jealous at first, took about 2 hrs for him to warm up, now all is fine, except Buddy is taking all the toys to his spot, but he's getting better.  She already seems to have a stong nose from what I have seen, even flash pointing the cat.

And a lap full of GSP's

Thanks, no name yet? She is a bold little thing, not scared of anything so far, as soon as i brought her into the house she went and investigated every room and so far she settles down really nice, just pick her up and she seems to calm or just lay in your lap.

Congratulations, she is a cute one.  If she's anything like my Breeze (who is a half sister) she'll be pointing & stalking the cat for a long time.  She loves to try to flush them too.....

They are definitely contagious!

I think it's probably easier (bite my toungue) to own two dogs.  They keep each other company and give you a little time to yourself.  The flip side is they know how to gang up on you!

Very often I have been out with my dogs and people will stop, whether on foot or in their car, and say, "What beautiful dogs. Are those Shorthairs?  We had them growing up and they were the best dogs."  My reply is, "Why don't you have them now?"

You don't even need two GSPs! When the time to bring my puppy home finally arrives my baby will already be bigger than our other dog... a Welsh Pembroke Corgi. Only our Corgi might be a bit overweight.... not good, but my girl will help with that!

VERY cute pup!

Two is definitely better than one!!! I always say my favourite spot is in the middle of a pointer sandwich

I got my second shorthair to keep my first one company while I was working. At the time I worked in the office. Now I work from home, but it is nice because I can put them out and they entertain each other during the day while I am working. I got my third shorthair because my breeder enticed me with a nice breeding and she knew I wanted a male. Taking care of 1, 2 or 3 is pretty much the same. It just costs more in food and vet bills. The nice thing with three is if I take one somewhere the other two have each other for company. I am planning on adding a fourth one in the fall as I am planning on breeding Halo and keeping a female from the litter.

We have always been a 2 dog family, when we lost our Britt last October at 14.5 years, I thought I would wait and see how the one dog thing works, well it didn't so over christmas vacation I found this pup. Buddy is doing a good job of helping, the pup has found the speakers to my TV and was trying to tear into them, I started telling the pup NO, NO, Buddy goes to the pup and tries to get between her and the TV, he looks at me then the pup as if he's saying I'm trying to stop her.

Buddy sounds allot like by oldest girl, Belle. She actually will come and "tattle" on my other two when they are being naughty. She comes in and sits next to me and looks at me with this "do something, Mom" look. I always know one or both of the kids are doing something I don't want them doing.

No name yet? I just love your girls color and markings. She is a really pretty girl. You need to post some more pictures. Hint, hint!

When Bo is really being a doofus, Razzy will look at me like "Mom, make him STOP". To which I always respond, "I don't speak dog, you do." :D It's awesome having two. (From someone who always thought she didn't like dogs :D)
