It must be Valentines Day for the pups too!

I had Penny and Cooper out playing with Ruger (the next door neighbors Visla).  Ruger and his owner wentinside and I called my pups to go in.  Cooper obeyed and Penny disappeared.  Next thing I know, Penny is out with Ruger again.  Apparently Penny jumped up and hit the doorbell, then sat and waited for Matt to open the door.

Crazy girl!

Another funny story...

I own a pet sitting service.  It was in th middle of winder.  Cooper was about 10 weeks old we were packing up to leave an overnight stay.  I loaded the car and turned on the heater.  Put Cooper inside the car and closed up the house.  Went back to the car and Cooper had locked all the doors.  Car was running, heat turned high and no way in!  (My extra key was in my purse, locked in the car.)  Cooper standing on the console just looking at me, little but wagging and so proud.  I called the police to see if they could help.  They laughed and said they would come right way.  I got off the phone and Cooper had pushed the power window button and rolled down all the windows!  I felt pretty silly calling the PD back.  We all had a good laugh.  Never trust a GSP in the car alone!

Mjones - I had a cocker spaniel that was notorious for locking car doors and loved rolling down windows. So far, my shorthairs haven't learned that one. Funny now, but probably not so funny when it happened. ROFLMAO

I have actually been very aware of leaving the dog in the truck with the keys, I always make sure I take the keys with me...now I know that I am not being overly worried about it cuz it has happened!

Thing is I always carry 2 sets of keys.  Never would I think that the pup could have locked the doors.  Then to stand there at look at me with that "Ain't I  the most adorable pup you have ever seen" look!

Got to love them..

BTW...Penny is on the shock collar when ever off lead now.  She went to the neighbors late last night and "knocked" on the door
