We are under another storm warning for an additional 4-8 inches of snow between tonight and tomorrow. If this snow gets any deeper the dogs are going to disappear outside, never to be seen again until spring!!!
There are still roads that aren't plowed from the last storm, still people without electricity since Saturday. They've brought in the National Guard to help ambulances and police departments reach their destinations in their Humvee's because the ambulances and police cars can't get down the roads to get to the people. And we are getting MORE snow!!!!!!!!! UGH! |

| We are under snow warnings now too...they said last night 4-6 inches but we only got 2"...then they are calling for 4-6 today so we will see...it is snowing now...Donner is not liking the snow! Blitz on the other hand loves it! |

I am so jealous that you are getting all of MY snow! The ONLY thing I like about winter is snowshoeing with the dogs. Not only do we not have enough snow to snowshoe, but I was walking in the woods in my SNEAKERS yesterday. Very sad!  |

| I too am under another storm warning, already had around 8 inches with another 6 to 8 estimated by the time it all ends, Buddy and the kids sure loves it though. |

Calling for up to 6" here in MI too. Been a odd winter as most all of the snow has melted off over the last month.
I personally hate the stuff! Ill be happy when April hits! |

| gosh that's no fun. I hate the snow, couldn't get to work for nearly 2 weeks as we ran out of salt here and they didn't do my roads!! But fortunately all ours has gone now, saw on the news you were being battered by the worst storms in ages over there. Good luck! Love seeing the GSP in the snow pics though. |

here on Long Island we are suppose to get 8-12 inch they have already closed my daughters school and no snow yet! looking forward to seeing the puppy(4 mths) play in it! Be safe everyone

Hi Toni,
I guess Wyatt just missed the 2+ foot blizzard right before the holidays  That was Hanz' first snow and he had a BLAST!!!! I'm sure he and the kids will have fun tomorrow...we are still waiting to hear about a delay or closing :-( fingers and paws are crossed here for a FUN day in the snow!!!

That's GREAT...we will have to meet again, assuming the snow melts My pups had fun, and I think they will play together a little more next time. My 2 are snoozing on the couch after their hike today...lots of bunnies out to chase today

| Yes us too, We have been snowing all day and getting another 6 to 8 inches more . It will be great driving in tomorrow Love all those white cars with no lights in all this snow .I called my mother and she said it was only 80 today ,the poor thing . she said it was going down to 60 .i told her to put her furnace on .I asked if she wanted me to send her some snow and she said no thanks ! Everyone stay safe and stay warm cuddle your gsp (been far east ) |

| Just wondering if you have any more pics of your GSPs from your second hit of snow storms??? You have just got to be shut down with soooo much deep snow!! Us in sunny Wisconsin just got a nice 4 inch light fluffy snow!! |

| It snowed pretty much all day yesterday & we got a whopping snow total of nearly an inch... sigh... I want more snow so I can snowshoe! |

| ya ... our snowshoe season has been pretty bad here in Ottawa too. My husband is running the dogs through the woods in sneakers. (Maybe not so much now -- there have several coyote sightings in our local forest, and even rumours of a cougar ...) |

we ended up getting atleast another 16 or so inches with this last storm. In some parts of my yard the snow is almost to my waist. Its great for tiring the puppy out though!
The township never plowed our roads from the first strom so we have a nice layer of ice underneath this new snow. Talked to my aunt who works for the township and she said they're declaring a "state of disaster" ??? Ive never heard of that but aparently they declare that when there's really nothing they can do to help?. We only have four plows for our township so I guess its pretty tough getting the roads cleared....but it sounds like theyre not going to try any more? |
