I found a pattern for a new bed to make Xara last night and tried it today. The dogs LOVE it! And it is soooooo easy to make, it's no sew so it can't get much easier than that!

Here is the "community" dog bed in the living room, I also made one for Xara's crate, and for my cocker spaniel Louie since he loved thisone so much.

She loves it because she sinks right down in to it and its' nice and warm

Louie was the first one to run for it and climb in ! LOL He got his own made after I saw his reaction to this one.

I'm quite jealous, that looks seriously comfy. And no sew..now that's my kind of design. How about you ship a couple across to the uk!!!!

Nice job! What did you stuff it with?  Did you put any cedar chips in it?  That fleece is fun to work with.

Great idea.  My daughter has a few of these blankets, but it never crossed my mind to stuff one.  I may have to make Lilly one this week.

I just stuffed it with polyfill, if you used cedar chips I'd make an inside pillow with the filling first, then cover it with the fleece

you should have it now :) I can tell you, Xara makes a beeline for that bed when she comes in from outside. She slept on it today rather than wanting on my lap, which is good because she's getting a bit big for my lap LOL She totally loves it. I'm going to have to make another big one though because when she's on it she isn't about to share it with anyone else! Sniper needs his own bed now

Wyatt is 4 mth and my husband says he will chew this to pieces, and of the other dogs pups?
