I've been bringing Koda into work the last three days, and she has been an angel for the most part.  She's been sleeping a lot, but she'll get up and play with her toys, chew her bone, and greet my coworkers.  She whines a little when I step out to use the restroom or get coffee, but I come back and tell her 'Shh' and she quiets down.  She did give a warning bark when the mailman came to drop off the mail.  This is a new development.  My boss is out of town this week, so I wanted a trial run to see how she would do and see if I could stay focused on work.  I may ask him next week if he doesn't mind her coming in once in a while.  The building manager has dogs and loves when she comes in.  Hopefully she'll stay sleeping during my conference call.

Thats a good option to have.  For me to avoid long hours away from home I work from home some.  When I am on a call it never fails, Buddy sees a something or someone out the window and the barks start flying.

I work from home and am on the phone allot. Everyone knows I have dogs and they usually think it is funny. I have gotten good at hitting the mute key when they get going. Most of the folks I work with are teleworkers so it is not unusual to hear kids, dogs, babies, etc in the background on our callsl.

My husband and I thought this was adorable! I like how you do the test while the boss is gone!

I'm 100% jealous right now ;)
I so wish I could bring Murphy to work with me, even occasionally... I know he would sleep most of the day anyway...and look almost identical to that picture (I had to do a double take when I saw it LOL, that's exactly how he curls up and sleeps!). Unfortunately I work in a cookie factory and I don't think anyone would appreciate a GSP trying to steal all the cookies :D (among other health code violations!)

I take mine into work some days. Luckily the boss, which is me, doesn't mind. The younger patients enjoy playing with her and it is good socialization.

I brought Cooper into work with me this Friday (today) and last Friday. He's been insanely good, too. Here he is chillin' with his toys. But he did his fair share of sleeping on the job- just like Koda.

I own a pet sitting service and have 5 people that work with me.  The clients love it when we bring our dogs to work.  It's the best of both worlds.  Their pups get a good workout and so do ours.
