Juno,
Thanks for the offer! We would have loved to have had a glass of wine with you. The sacked out puppy photo is actually an old one, taken 5 years ago. Terra is the solid puppy with her head on the Weim. The roan puppy is CJ formerly of Edmonton now living in Toronto area. If we end up having to transport any puppies west from Terra's upcoming litter, we may still get to take you up on your offer!
Gail
P.S. I shipped a puppy to Regina who lives in Zehner, SK. Is that anywhere near you?

With all of the snow here, our dogs have been out playing and running a lot. We have tired girls at the end of the day.....

Love the pix Gail! Still haven't got any of Bo in those positions, mainly cuz he's flopped on top of both Rich and I. and the camera is upstairs. We have been waking him up at 9 p.m. (when he is fully into sleep mode) and watching movies with him over the Christmas break. He seems to be getting the idea that it is okay to fall asleep out of the crate.
We have also ordered a dog cot from Kuranda and we're hoping this helps encourage him napping with us out of the crate -- the kennel he will be staying at in January uses these, so he should get REALLY used to it. |

Joce, The camera has been upstairs more, I guess because of the holidays so we've had some good photo ops. Terra and I tried skjoring yesterday which was a lot of fun and pretty tiring as you can see from her individual pic! Gail |

The skijoring sounds like fun ... goodness knows we've got the snow. We went for a walk Christmas day in the woods ... with the snow up past our thighs! Bo, however, was bounding through the snow like an antelope or something .
Rich had built him some hills and tunnels a couple weeks ago... with the warm weather and rain last weekend, Rich caved in the tunnels so Bo wouldn't hurt himself. Boy did he give Rich a good barking at when he went out and no more tunnels . With the snow yesterday, the tunnels have been re-established, and we have a happy puppy once again . He is just LOVING the snow. |

I bought snow shoes after sinking up to my waist in snow. They work great! Unfortunately in really deep snow the dogs will sit on the backs like a raft in water. This is OK if you're stopped but if you're walking, it's a face plant!

Good to know -- we're hoping to pick up some snowshoes on sale somewhere ... maybe we'll get the new ones without the piece at the back.

| Yes, I love the one with her drooped over the chair. It is so amazing the positions they find to sleep in. I like the one with the mouth open sleeping. The face is just like Mocha's with the white on the lips and eye brows. |

There is certainly nothing better than sacked out pups...here is one of our *ummmm, errr* Big Bad Hunting Dogs....spooning!
And we ask why we spend money on two beds!
The larger is our male, Charlie (almost 6 yrs) and the smaller is our female, Laila (almost 3 yrs).

I've gotten a great new "sacked out shorthair" picture with Juno's new Christmas Buddy. Nothing cuter than a Shorthair cuddling and when you don't have another GSP friend to cuddle with this stuffed type would have to do. Those pictures above really make me want to go out and get another puppy for Juno to cuddle with.

| Ha, I love how so many of these photos feature our GSPs on the COUCH!!! Try as we might to keep our dog off the couch, every morning he gets caught up there!! When we first got Ranger, I met a couple out on a walk with another GSP. They told me there was one thing I needed to learn: "Their comfort comes first!!". |

How very true. Last night when they came in the house I tried to lay on the couch to watch a movie. I had to keep getting up because they were 4 on me snuggling and I kept over heating. Lug- great looking dogs. Can't believe the size difference between the two of them. Juno and Daisy are Cute! Love the pic of RUGER with his legs in the air! |

| He's got some super long legs for running. I'll bet he'd love some 2 foot snow to play in! There are alot with the larger dogs! Gsp is GSP. I love them all. Look at all the assortment of sizes and colors. Never a twin as they are ALL so different yet so alike! |
