Figured it was time for another baby update.... I am now 6 months pregnant and things are much better... I am not sick anymore! Yay!!!! I am finally getting a baby belly and I've only gained about 5 pounds. Maybe it's that persistant lack of appetite!? The 20 week ultrasound looked perfect - it was moving all around and playing with it's toes - so cute! We are not finding out the sex.
I still don't think Osiris has a clue, but the baby seems to know! A few nights ago, I was laying on the couch with Osiris resting on my belly, and the baby started moving and kicking at him! He looked down like "Hey...what's that?" And then went back to resting. It was cute!
We kinda had a little scare with my cousin's newborn - she is 2 months old. On Thanksgiving, we had everyone over and she had the baby on the floor changing her diaper. Osiris was excited and not paying attention and stepped on the baby!! It didnt hurt her - but it scared her. We had to crate him until he calmed down. When he is excited, he is seems to be totally unaware of where he is stepping. He had stepped on my things before. Just makes me realize that we are going to have to be extra careful until he gets adjusted to our little one.
We had to trade in my Toyota Celica for something more reasonable for a car seat. It was kind of sad since that was my first car and I had it totally paid off. But it would not have been fun trying to get the baby in and out of it. So we got a 2010 Ford Escape and I love it!! The only issue is that Osiris used to be able to sit up front with me in the car. Well, as most of you know, when a shorthair has free reign of your car, it's pretty much trashed. I DO NOT want that to happen to my brand new car, so we have relegated him to the back with a gate. I was worried at first, but he really doesnt seem to mind it at all.
Here he is in his new spot....

Of course, we will do the best we can to ease his adjustment to NOT being the only baby! It's hard to tell how he is going to do.
And just for fun, here is a pic of him sitting in bed with me, waiting patiently for a piece of my poptart.

Hope everyone is well!
