Ok so my first GSP pup is home and OMG she is so perfect. We just love her shes so smart and very very birdy (they brought a dead bird and she will retrieve a dead bird to hand and points amazing) shes a very sweet loving girl and is full of energy today lol yeasterday after a 12 hour car ride she just slept as she had a lot of firsts yeasterday. But we just love her and she has melted into our family and hearts very quickly its like she has always been here. She is even housetrained not once accident she whined at 5 am to go out and goes to the door everytime she has to go potty. I am so exited only have a few photos as she is never holding still but she  pointed her first point at home last night in the dark (our cat was  moving through the taller grass in the yard and she pointed it.

So here is Abby (was going to call her ziva but it just doesnt fit her personality).

She is a very pretty girl. I know you are having a blast with her. Love the pictures. She had grown allot in just the few weeks since you got the other pictures. Have fun.

Thank you everyone she is a great pup and we just love her although I am definatly seeing what you guys have been talking about being overly tired (had to put her in her crate after four hours straight of playing hard to get her to take a nap) and about the zoomies LOL she also is wearing our older dog out who has asked a couple of times today to be locked in her crate away from abby LOL but its good for her she n eeds to loose some weight shes a very easy keeper and only gets two cups a day of food.

Abby is 15 weeks old right now MelB she will be 16 weeks on saturday. I am so glad I got Abby and my whole family son included is hooked on GSP's we had never really been around one but they are so smart and so easy to train and willing to please its just amazing.

I just love my new little girl hoping the weather is nice tomorrow and we will take her to the beach and to the dunes to see some pheasants and she will get to go grouse finding and maybe hunting this weekend.

Abby was born on July 18th so Xara must have been the 17th? Xara is so adorable too bad we are not closer so these two could wear eachother out.

LOL MelB yeah so does Abby our poor older cattle dog is beat after about an hour of hard play with her and she is just still rearing and ready to go Kenna put Abby into her place one time today but honestly I didnt blame her Abby was being abnoxious LOL she was jumping on kenna laying on the couch and biting her ears and tugging at her and well after four hours of playing Kenna had enough and just growled and man Abby backed right off then I rememebered what everyone had said about them being more abnoxious when they are overly tired put her in her crate and shes out LOL so guessing she was just too tired to stop playing.

There is a reason many of us have more than one GSP. I got Halo because I thought Belle needed a playmate and I was hooked on GSPs. Now I have three and I am planning on breeding Halo next year and keeping one of the females if they turn out nice.

Thank you everyone we are just so excited to have this girl in our family she is soooo smart and so sweet. Shes the fastest and easiest dog I have ever had to train and shes such a loving sweet dog. Shes fully housebroken I would say havent had an accident in two days and goes to the door everytime in fact she was whinning by the door but since she had just been outside I thought she was whinning cause our other dog had one of her bones well that wasnt it and she brought me my shoes and dropped them at my feet and then went to hte door and whined. I couldnt believe it and in 3 ten minute sessions the past three days she is already freestacking really well. We are working on hand stacking but she is doing fantastic she is farther right now in 3 10 minute sessions then I thought we would be in months of training. Shes just an amazing dog and I am sold on the breed I will never own another dog ever.

Here is a video I shot yeasterday of us working on her show training this was her 3rd 10 minute session.

Here are some photos the blurry ones where taken off a video thats why they are blurry. In the one she had her collar and leash on but I removed them from the photo since it was really distracting from the overall picture. Ok photobuckets being weird will add more later.

Very nice! I really liked the video. Very nice free stack. She was also setting up her rear for you when you were hand stacking her. Looks like you guys are already having fun. Good luck in that first show.
