I'm with TB. There's a reason I live in a warm(er) state.I wouldn't say NY has mild winters but where we have our property it still isn't that cold. The Adirondacks see winters like yours but we are lower in the state.
BRRRR!

I'm jealous of you guys farther south when it's bitter cold here. Right now, even though it's unseasonably cold, the fall colors are stunning!

We are upstate, in Albany, close to the adirondacks.. Its been below freezing every morning this week..  ugh.   Joey has been OK with it so far, there is just a few times when she just sits by the door and refuses... then naturally finds a place to pee inside shortly after... !

Her training seems to have gotten MUCH better this week though, she's sleeping through the night and finally not peeing in her crate (which she was doing even when we were getting up twice in the night).

Cute! Fall looks so good on our dogs!

Ya it's awesome seeing them run amongst the red, orange and yellow leaves. One of my favourites of Bo as a pup was taken at this time of year.

Just a newbie chiming in here...

Zio is now almost 2 1/2 & yeah, he's still a "snuggler". He starts out sleeping on his bed next to ours, but by about 3am he "mysteriously" appears between us, which is where we find him when we wake up. Thankfully, we have a king sized bed!

Meanwhile, we had him up in Toronto last December, with no ill effects, even when he wasn't wearing his coat. He'd be out in my sister's backyard romping "coatless" around with her Sheltie in 3' of snow and just loving it. But for longer walks we still put the coat on him.

Either way he seemed happy.

at least some of you get a fall, down here in alabama we get "late summer" and "early winter". the leaves change colors for about two weeks. but on the other hand i would not want to deal with blizzards.

and for sub mariner: you have a duty to post pictures, it was in the fine print
