I had to take Xara outside, but Sniper had just been out so I didn't want him to go too (he sometimes distracts Xara from the job at hand).

I put him in a sit stay at the top of the steps, never expecting him to actually still be where I put him as we haven't worked much on out of sight stays.  I took Xara out, we were out there for about 5 min, and came back in.

I get about mid-way up the steps and I hear the macaws saying: "Sniper, STAY!", "Noooo, nooo,,,,you stay, uh-uh STAY!" "You sit Sniper, STAY!"

And there sits Sniper as good as gold right where I left him not moving a muscle.  While I was thrilled, I don't think I can take the macaws with me to a dog show to reinforce my commands!!!! LOL
