Francine -- yep -- big massive red zins -- and she is a red smooth standard dachshund (e.g. a big red zin :-) ) -- I was going to call her Ravenswood (after my favorite) but came up this this name and liked it better -- anything out near Heldsburg is top knotch in my book :-)

Tara- Tar bear
Moon - woo-woo (she "talks"...... says "woo-woo-woo!")
Mac - Rooster (we always seemed to put up more roosters over him than other dogs hunting, the guys started calling him "The Rooster")
Buck - The Buckmaster
Jet - sissy (Jesses' sister)
Jesse - Bubba, Bubba Gump (he's a big oafy pup)
Those are their nicknames when they are good....cannot put the other one here, but they all answer to it when bad, LOL!!!!

Kaiser (13 yo m GSP): Kaiser, Kye, Kaiser-Riser, K-Man. Big Boy (he's always been taller/heavier than the standard), Knothead, Special K,  Old Man (now that he's slowed down).

Gator (2 yo m GSP) - (Think Univ of Florida-Nat'l Champs): Gator, Gator Bait, Gatorade, Gatorador, Terminator, Little Man, Gator-Tator, Sweet potato, Buddy, Honey Bunches of G., G-man, Knothead and Miny-me (as except for age differences, they look identical).

Florida (8 yr  f cat): Florida, Flo, Flossy, Flo-Jo, Princess, Pajama Girl (her markings make her look like she has pajama's and slippers on).

Norman (7 yo m cat): Norman, Nooorm, Storming Norman, Grey Ghost, Tom

Apologies to those Dawg's fans out there. No, we don't actully live in Florida-my husband grew up there. We're up here in Minnesota (the frozen tundra), but our hearts are in Florida where we hope to migrate permanetly to someday in the not so distant future.

I am simply thankful that least dogs exist, and I'm humbly aware of how much less a person I'd be - how less human, if they did not exist - Rick Bass

Ok, I am glad I am not the only one that has silly names for my pup...

Osiris - we usually just call him Cyrus (I hate to say it - but prnouced like Miley Cyrus, although we DO NOT associate him with her.)

But he also gets called Puppy Doo, Puppers, Ruppy-Doo, Rupster, Puppy-Ruppy-Roo... oh my gosh, I am so bad.
