I put a clothesline out in the fence area so I can hang clothes out to dry. Xara has discovered the joys of taking them back off the line as fast as I hang them!

I didn't think she could reach them, but her jumping ability is a bit better than I thought. If she wasn't pulling the clothes off, she was climbing in my laundry basket and pulling clothes out of it, or grabbing my clothespins and taking off with the entire bag of those.

She had a blast, me not so much LOL I smacked my toe off the bottom of the couch earlier today and it's all swollen and black and blue. I broke the same toe about 4 months ago and it was literally just getting to where I could wear heels to work again,,,,back to the drawing board.  But chasing my laundry around was not an easy task! LOL

She's going to be a hand full. They do have a knack for keeping up laughing though.

MelB - That is a great story. I am sitting here at work laughing and all my co-workers are looking at me like I am nuts.... The story plays out in my mind in full color and it has me laughing over and over. Sorry to hear about the toe... hope it isn't to painful. :(

I do admit that while chasing my laundry around the back yard I was laughing like crazy. She just had that glint in her eyes as she took off and was enjoying herself so much I couldn't take the fun away from her! LOL
Toe is ok, as long as I don't wear shoes *hmm*

My sympathies go out to you as my little girl is also a laundry thief! Since I got her at 8 weeks she has always enjoyed stealing socks, underwear, and dish towels. I have had to have a baby gate blocking off my walk in closet since day one and I don't dare leave a laundry basket full of clothes by the washer. She loves to torment me by just standing out of reach with a sock in her mouth to show me she has something and then running away before I can take one step towards her. When I'm doing laundry she generally has her head in the dryer inspecting everything I am doing. One day I invited her to get in just to see if she would and she stayed there long enough for me to get my camera. I had hoped she would outgrow her laundry fetish but she's 18 months and I'm not holding my breath.

That is too funny. Mine too love to steal laundry. My oldest girl though loves the wash cloth in the bathroom. She will take it down (even when it is wet) and roll on it. Ringo and Halo love to steal socks. Ringo also like to steal mom's bras. Thankfully, they are pretty good about bringing them too me or at least piling their collection in the dog bed where I can retrieve everything.

Those are so funny Laundry GSP stories. No Laundry is safe around a young GSP. Yes it does get much better as the GSP ages Even at 7 yrs old, Rocky can lift a a whole pile of neatly folded  wash cloths off my folding table and carry them off to another room to shread. First 2 yrs of Rocky in my life, stopped using the clothes line and used dryer more. Willowglen's drier GSP is a HOOT!! Never seen a GSP fully sitting in a drier before. To make matters worse, my husband bought 2 drier rubber pointy balls to lessen the Drier time. Drier is more fun and challenging keeping  Rocky away from  the drier balls

Oh Willowglen that picture is hysterical! I'm in tears laughing over here...
I have to wonder if the GSP's love the laundry becuase of the smell (my guess) or the warmth out of the dryer? Murf has never been a big laundry guy... he just prefers stinky socks from dad's shoes. But my little Maltese, Thor LOVES to roll around on freshly folded piles of laundry, thus undoing all of my hard work :(

Well it's WARM in there and it smells good! LOL Osris loves laundry as well, and is always right there with me trying to "help" me transfer the clothes from the washer to the dryer.
