Xara goes for her second set of shots next Saturday so we'll see what she weighs at 12 weeks. Guessing, I'd have to say she's at about 12 lbs now. I know it's getting harder and harder to carry her down the stairs to take her outside! She can go up on her own, but she hasn't mastered down yet. I"ll be glad when she does

Mel, Try doing it a few steps at a time. Put Xara on the third step from the bottom and leave her there, while you walk away downstairs.. She will follow you, If you do this several times a day by the end of the first day you can be putting her down in the middle of the stair case and she will follow. THEN by the end of the second day she will be able to tackle the entire case by herself. At that point heaven help your household because NOTHING will be safe ever again!! Carrie

Oh I agree with Carrie. Mine think it is a NASCAR race or something. If I am upstairs and even go in the direction of the stairs... here they come the 2 of them at high speed, racing to the bottem. This includes passing, bump drafting and even a few crashes. LOL They can be upstairs each in their own rooms and if I go up there to get something or to clean up, they watch for me to finish my business and WATCH OUT!!!! My husband says they do that to escort me down, because their bedrooms are upstairs and he thinks they don't like mom in their space. LOL Like most teen aged boys.... LOL I just think it is part of the game. NO not running with the bulls..... RUNNING WITH DOGS!
