OK, as of Sat. High Voltage still hadn't named her pup when I saw her, here is a link to the thread with his picture (he really isn't snippy, like he looks to me in the picture, and he has lost part of his fat rolls!).

If you haven any other good names, write them in!

I have never tried to do a poll, or insert a link to another thread, so hopefully this works!

Puppy naming is soooo hard! We just got a suprise litter out of a rescue female and now are looking for names for three beautiful pups. I wish I had some good ideas.

I also see a shoe with pants facing backwards on his side.  Hoss Field Dancer or something with shoe/boot in it.

Trey
what a great idea. Having had many dogs over the years I always tried to come up with something that would fit the personality of the dog, so for instance.. Edward the third (aka Teddy) for a golden retriever who thought he was and acted like a God (yes not a dog!). Kim for a medium Schnauzer who was very placid, bright, but did not take himself too seriously. Sam for a Cocker spaniel who was for ever youthful and simply an idiot. Elka for a lab cross who was slim , and athletic and so on. Our GSP is Max as he is a German breed, large and quite regal. Not original, but appropriate. I guess if you think your little guy will be cheeky, like a teenager in spirit you could think of: Alfred (Alfie for short), Frederic (Freddie for short), Oliver (Ollie for short), Blitz, Ben, Muffy (ie Matthew), Randy, Adrian.

I like Mac too. Good luck

We called our pup Spencer, but Miles was our second choice.

at first glimpse my initial reaction of him is to call him Georgie! He's a cutie. Georgie Boy. I like 2 syllabel names...since commands are usually singular, 2 syllabel name might help.
