| this pool is saltwater. it was a great day. i guess it was about 100 degrees. we had three shorthairs, one wirehair and one weim. the pups are used to racing and jumping into the pool to be the first to retrieve the bumper, the diving board is just a perk. theres a slide too, but we didnt get the dogs to go down it. they were all fearless though with the jumps. head first into the water, whatever it took to get the bumper back to their master. |

Awesome pictures, love the second one, and you are so lucky that you have access to a pool! All my life I wanted that for my dogs, never succeeded. Looks like great fun, and the only kind of fun you can have in this heat. It was 98 here in Athens GA. Finally, at 9 pm, it cooled down to 91 |

Good Pics Em. It was a good time as always, and good to see you. Your welcome back anytime. The pool chemicals don't affect the dogs at all. The saltwater in mine actually make chlorine gas that is put into the water, then turns back into salt and starts the proccess over. Not near as harsh for people or the dogs as regular chlorine. Finally got the gate done so that we can put the dogs in the yard and let the people enjoy the pool some as the pups won't give up the pool. |

Rocky's cooling pool. He jumps in& out of this 100 times when hot chasing balls in the backyard. This tank is sturdy, easy to empty, cleans up greatly. Will last over 20 years being outside year round. Seen on farms for animal drinking tanks.Sold at stores Fleet Farm and other stores that carry farm animal products. |

| This tank is 65 gallons and cost around $60. Also, I keep a bucket by to pour water on Rocky's back when really hot. Any more ways to keep our dogs cool in the hot summer weather??.... Wow 100 degrees in NC!! I can't even imagine that hot!!! Will not complain this tuesday when we hit 92 degrees for the first time this year. |

| I will have to take a picture of the tank I bought my crew over 5 years ago. It is a round metal tank about 1.5 foot high and about 5 foot in diameter. It has a drain plug I can pull to drain it. It is great. Our temps in Texas have been over a 100 now for over a week. Summer heat came early this year. It usually doesn't hit the 100s until mid-July. You would think the dogs would want to stay in, but they are ready to go out by 8AM and stay out until the heat of the afternoon at about 2PM, then they come in for a nap and to eat, then when it starts cooling off it is time to go out again and prowl until about 10PM. |

Oh I love all the puppies in the pool!!
We got Osiris a pool and he would not get in it. He drank out of it and then dragged it around the yard and chewed on it. At least he got SOME sort of use out of it!! |
