Has anyone ever heard of this or know what it looks like? Exfoliative cutaneous lupus erythematosus Apparently, from the little I have found on it it is unique to GSP's and it makes me wonder since I have always had sking problems with mine. He has been to the dermatologist and everything has been diagnosed as allergies, but I would like to know more about this too.

My dogs (the liver ones) had dry skin flakes. The vet said it was something like that. She gave me more or less the fish oil. I changed up to a food with it and I give them each a fish oil tab everyday and no more flakes.

LB when we adopted Max he had a case of serious dandruff - ie flaky skin. Since he also has developed dermatitis. We have him on eagle pack holistic food which has no corn. I have found that cleared his skin up. Other things that seemed to bring it on: eggs and diary. I am trying the flax seed as well, god luck
