Hey does anyone know anything about these bloodlines or this breeder? We just took in a rescue with these bloodlines and breeder and I would like to know more about the background for prospective adopters. Thanks!

Breeder: Barbara Lynn Caswell

FC Fine Line Catalanos Pride

FC Direct's fine Line

Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure who Barbara Caswell is, but Direct dogs are John Steger,he has some very big running FT dogs & several NGSPA CH's. Directs Fine Line sired FC KJ's Hightailin Saddle & is behind a lot of winning FC's, he was the grandsire to Windrows Saddle Tramp MH..... Fine Line is back pretty far back in most pedigrees, who are the dogs parents??

What I am hopefully looking for is the person's contact info who bred the dog. Just to get some information on her lines. She is line bred. Her grandfather on both sides is the FC Fine Line Catalanos Pride. She is a very very sweet dog. I like to just contact the breeders to find out more about the lines and such and possibley meet the parents. Thanks for the help everyone!

I think you'll find that FC stands for Field Champion...not a kennel name.

I have FC Fine line Catalanos Pride (SF458070 lvr&wh) in both of my females background 3rd generation back. This dogs father was FC Direct's Fine Line (SE161182 wh & lvr) the mother is Windswept Farms Ginger Snap (SE075575 lvr & Wh) not sure if this helps you or not but I just dug through my pedigrees.

While we are on this subject; is there a pipeline's kennel somewhere? I can only find a couple of the dogs (coco cola cowboy) being one of them.

Also, how do I find out information on a couple of other dogs? I am looking for info on General Norman & Rawhides Clown. I know the parent's info but I am looking for anything else pertaining to these guys? Any help would be appreciated.

I have an item about Rahwhide's Clown that the breeder of my dog gave me. I was going to e-mail it to you but don't see that I can do an attachment on the e-mail through the board. In 1994 he became the only Shorthair to win the GSPCA National All Age Championship 3 years in a row.

Clown was a multiple national field champion, was bred a lot and produced some nice dogs, you will see clown dogs in field trials as well as NSTRA. Norman was a clown son a multiple NSTRA champion, was bred to some nice NSTRA females and produced some nice NSTRA dogs as well. Pipeline kennels was in Michigan, I do not believe the kennel itself still exists but the guys who had it are still around. I had a dog out of some pipeline stuff, shoot me an e-mail I may be able to answer more questions. As someone els has already said Steger had Direct kennels. Fine line himself was a Checkmate bred dog heavy trial lines bigger running dogs. I am not sure who bred Catalanos Pride. I'll check around. You could give John Steger a call I am sure he may know something, he is down at the GSPCA National in Eureka Kansas right now should be done there the end of October.
