Adorable. Looks like they are going to be best friends.

OMG how cute. This made my day.

That actually literally gave me goosebumps. Thanks for that. That's exactly how both a little girl and a puppy should grow up.

The more I look at this picture the more memories it brings back for me.  That is exactly how my mom and dad started me out, only it wasn't a GSP.  I grew up with cockers and greyhounds.  The result was I am a full fledged dog nut.

There are so many parents that never let their kids experience the joys and responsibilities of owning a dog.  Kuddos to you for introducing your daughter to a great breed at an early age.  She will have memories of Lilly for the rest of her life.

Precious photo!

If we hold Bo up, he holds his front legs out stiff like that. I think it's so funny!

That is so precious. It looks like neither one is sure that they are doing it right.

So true

It has been my experience that smart puppies go "quiet" when little kids pick them up, just like when their mamas pick them up. A self-preservation mechanism I think!

How absolutely beautiful!  All of our children grew up with a pet of their own.  Each one today as several in their homes.  I truly believe that the special bond they share enhances their lives as young children way into their adult years.  We could never be without!  We also love Georgia. Our oldest daughter & son-in-law live there with our granddog GSP Harper & grandcat Zoe.

I'm glad one of her first dogs is a GSP,. My Dad brought home a GSP puppy when I was 11yrs old, her name was Patches. She was such a big part of my life, following me everywhere. I know that is why I have chosen the breed today. I thank my Dad for introducing me to such a great breed,,,, As I'm sure that someday, Aly will thank you for bring a GSP into her childhood, They are such great kids dogs. !!!!

They look like they will be best friends. Maybe they can wear each other out. Wouldn't that be great.
