Thank you Bean and Naville for  Cabelas Winter outfit model compliment. Just saw that outfit on the Cabelas catalog that summer and new it was JUST ME  and had to have it. That outfit came in so handy wearing it out to winter Wisconsin fish frys. Boots had great traction on the Ice and Snowy walks. Never froze in drafty restaurant areas!!  Rocky , this year like a naughty GSP needing attention chewed the fur apart a little on top of the right boot. Now I will have to do a little needle work to repair.!!  GSPs can be little stickers at times.

I would leave the boot as is and wear it like a badge of honor...as in honored by a GSP. I have a Birkenstock that I now treasure, chewed up courtesy of my now deceased bulldog. Made me mad then, makes me smile now
