Wirehair tails work like gsp tails.

 I guess I meant, do they do better in colder weather ??  Great name

 Bean came to us a GRETTA   ( double T )...and it just did not fit her, yours looks like a great fit, as Greta ( single T )...

Yes they do much better in the cold. They also handle cold duck water much better. Not as resilient in the icey water as labs, but much better than gsp's
