Wirehairs always look a little like a bath mat with eyes to me  but she is really cute. LOTS of furnishings.

Oh, she's precious. Kind of defeats the "wash and wear" of the rest of the gang, but she looks like a little honey.
There's a wirehaired griffon in our neighbourhood who looked just like your little girl when he was a pup. From a distance, I was confuse him with a GSP. |

Well the first night went well.
She went right to sleep and only woke up once to go out and pee.
She came back in and went back to sleep.
As you can see by the blurrr.
Wirehair tails work like gsp tails.

| Hogan, congrats on your new pup. A wire haired Pointer will be fun to raise. Wonder if she will think she is a GSP being around a family of them?? She will be learning from their ways!! She is just adorable.!!! Sounds like she is s keeper!! |

Oh My that is one of the most BEAUTIFUL dogs I have ever seen !!!!
My hubby & I belong to a health club ( I never go )
I do an 8 mile trail w/ Bean 6 days a week....Hubby has become friends w/ a WIREHAIR owner...WHO claims, they are JUST as smart and talented IF NOT MORE SO. than ..our shy little Shorthairs
( BTW Bean is not shy )..
Ha !
In my heart I truly LOVE the whiskers...good luck

How did you decide on a wirehair ????
I have been building a duck boat this winter and I will be doing some colder weather duck hunting, so I needed a dog that can tolerate cold water, but I wanted to stay with the pointing breeds.
So lo and behold, and ugly dog.
