Well, Ringo rebounded from his defeat yesterday and got his third leg. He ran with a weim today that is his age exactly. The weim's name is Ruger. Anyway we thought the boys were going to play the whole way. They finally got down to business today and both found and pointed birds, and both qualified. Here is a picture of me and Ringo with his ribbon (I think this is actually a better stacked shot too than the other one I posted).
Here is Ringo and Halo right after he got back from winning his third leg. Halo was PO'd as she hadn't gotten her turn and it was her birthday.
I introduced Halo to birds this weekend, and then this afternoon took her and Ringo out in the field where they had held the hunt test. Ringo found and pointed three birds, and Halo found and pointed her very first bird. Next fall I will run her in JH and maybe Belle too.
This last picture I just had to share because this was Saturday night and Halo was relaxing on the sofa when Ringo got up there with her and was acting goofy. It looks like Halo was sticking her tongue out at her brother.

Congratulations on that third leg ! Hey, there's no reason you can't finish it up this spring. We're planning a 2 club hunt test weekend mid April (can give you particulars at the show in Midland), and you can even run Halo there too...lots of room for that Fifth Wheel also.
