Here are some pictures of Ringo stacked on Sunday.  This was before he ran in his brace.

Hey Bev, Are you currently showing that beautiful boy? He is nice and square, you don't see to many boys as square as he is. You all might think he looks leggy, but the standard for GSP's reads, "with a short back, but standing over plenty of ground,,"
These dogs are suppose to look square. Alot of people are just used to looking at dogs with longer backs, but that's not the preferred conformation.

Wow, very nice looking boy that Ringo. He looks so mature - hard to believe he is only a pup. Gorgeous.

He is 25 inches at the withers and 60 lbs (he is a little heavy for field work right now so I am slimming him down just a tad).  I think he will top out at around 65 lbs when he gets all his muscle.  He is exactly the same height as his father, Fritz.

He does run all day long.  He about killed me following him in the Hunt Tests.  I will soon be in great shape if I keep up with him.

Thanks everyone.  I love the flashiness of his coat.  That is what originally drew me to him and he has turned into a really nice male.  I think he will do well when I enter him in conformation.  I will probably start showing him in late spring.  I am still working with him on the stacking and the free stack.  He gets better everyday.

He has grown up so fast and is one gorgeous GSP. I loved that picture on another thread where he barely get his little butt into the kennel.

Ringo is a big boy now. Can't believe how he has grown from when he was around the Xmas Tree with his big sisters. He can get his butt into the kennel now. He sure is handsome!!

Tessa -  It was Canyon of the Eagles on Lake Buchanan.  Go over to the Blogs section.  I posted the whole adventure with pictures over there under The Life and Times of Johnny Ringo. I periodically post blogs on things he does or encounters as he grows.  I plan on posting a blog on the Hunt Test when I get sometime. I also plan on taking more pictures next weekend at the next Hunt Test.

He will be 9 months old at the end of this month.  And yes he has grown up fast, too fast.

Hey Bev Ringo looks very nice and mature in those photos.

Lauralee, I thought the standing over plenty of ground was speaking about the distance from their front feet to their back feet? The Standard already talks about the dogs height with the 23-25 inches at the whithers. The square part is the dog's height versus it's length of back right. What do other folks think about this? Some dogs of the same height stand over more ground than others based on how laid back their fronts are how angulated their rear legs are.
