Osiris really seems to like foods with cinnamon in them.  I had posted a while back about him going NUTS for Gold Star Chili - which has cinnamon in it.

The other day, I made cinnamon muffins and he we nuts again.  He was under my feet while I was making them and stayed near the oven while they baked and then salivated while I ate one and gobbled up the tiny peice I gave him.

He also really goes nuts if I make cinnamon sugar toast.  The common link here is the cinnamon.  Could it be??  Seems so unusual.

cinnamon and garlic seem to be real attractors for Bo. His dog walker often makes homemade cookies, for special occassions, and there is always cinnamon in them.

No, I don't think so. I've been popping cinnamon hearts (valentine's day leftovers) and every time I go into the jar to grab some, Bo perks right up ... :D

OT a bit. Everbell---try cooking apples (peeled and sliced) in a pot of water with those cinnamon redhots. Delicious and Bo would probably enjoy them too.

Mine are weird then....they'll break out of the kennel, get into the garden and eat my brussel sprouts and green and hot hungarian peppers. Ripe tomatoes and cukes get ate also, look like a herd of goats grazing.

zodiak -  Not so weird.  Mine love tomatoes, bananas, carrots, and peppers.  They also eat green beans, black eyed peas, spinach and even lettuce. Halo's favorite is ripe bananas, Belle's favorite is tomatos and I am still trying to figure out Ringo's favorite (he seems to like everything).

zodiak, my dogs love melon as well. Cantalope is their favourite.

Our shorthair loves sweets but the border collie doesn't.

I planted purple basil several years ago around my garden because it is SUPPOSED to keep out the rabbits....

Well the problem is.. my ladies LOVED it!!!!! ate it all and let the rabbits into the rest of the garden :S

Casey will eat anything I am eating (shhh, don't tell my wife)

Has anyone found food that your GSP WON'T eat???

Casey absolutely hates liver. I got liver treats to give her when we are training and she wouldn't even smell them. I had to use pork rub seasoning on them for her to eat them. (I couldn;t waste them, I bought the big box)

Wachter eats EVERYTHING to include the cayanne pepper paste I tried to use to keep him from chewing wood... I even dropped a jar of jalepaneos... he ate all the peppers on the floor and begged for more! Coming from a family of tex mex.. I guess it shouldn't be a huge surprise that even the dog eats spicey food
