Marie--I live in a semi-desert climate so we don't get much muddy mess!  The only way I know when she needs a bath is when I notice that my bedsheets are looking a little grubby. . .on her side!

The good part of white is that when it rains it is obvious to me when her feet do get muddy, so I can dip them in a pot of water before she comes in!

The funny thing about Seven's point, in this picture, is that he is actually Pointing our 20 month old son who has the chuck-it. :o)

Phew, that explains a LOT!!!
the tail is down. The tail should be held higher, anywhere from level with the back to 12:00.
Fur can produce a different looking point but apparently so does children.

great pictures.
Keep 'em coming.
I mean really, can you EVER get enough??????

I just got back home and thought I would post some of Belle's pointing shots:

Belle pointing a frisbee, and before anyone asks Belle has a stub of a tail (another long story), but if she had a longer tail you would be able to see it up in this photo.

Another from this series of photos of Belle pointing a frisbee.  This one was so loved by a sporting dog artist he used it and painted a GSP head study which is the third picture.

And last but not least, Halo pointing:

I posted my boy pointing earlier in this thread, but to complete the family photo op here it is again. Ringo was actually pointing a covey of wild quail.

Magnificent head portrait of Belle. She is a beautiful girl!! Rocky has a stub tail too so can't see his tail either from a front face camera shot.  Love Halo girl's point too. Sounds like how good Ringo did this weekend finding all the birdies. He will have some good point pics too   Rocky did fine too pointing out all the quail  and pheasants on the game farm this past week having GSP fun doing what he was breed to do!! Nothing is more spectacular watching our GSPs work the field and "lock on Point" on birdies

I haven't had much time to be on the forum recently and decided to quickly look at the pics today. I was scrolling through them and had to stop at the pic of Seven. Wow that dog looks familiar. I have seen him somewhere. Then I scroll down and see that he is the famous dock jumper. I watched him a few weeks ago on TV. Way to go Seven! You are a handsome dude! congrats on your accomplishments!

I took some pictures of Bella's first day on birds.  She absolutely loved it, the best looking point of the day was when she scent pointed a pigeon, I kicked it up and it landed up by the lake.  She got away from me and I lost the CC but as she was running the pigeon landed on the ground and she locked up as quick as I've ever seen.  If you look closely you can see the pigeon about 15 yards in front of her.

Side shot of the same point.

She let me walk up and flush the bird before she broke.  Not bad for her first time.
