I put in a request for a separate "photos" forum...it would be cool to have a place to just post photos, in threads such as this one, so we can go straight to the pics to get our fix <img src=" align="absMiddle" border="0" src="/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/blue/emoticons/smile.gif" />

This is a handsome photo of Rocky. Those GSPs look best in scraggly autumn/winter grass or in snow. And I agree with you, for me watching them lock into a point is so fascinating.

Tessa has been pointing a lot lately, and a lot more intense, really locking in, no photos yet but will try to get one next weekend. Here she is last October, puppy point, 4 months old.

I only have 2 of the puppy pointing, when he was younger, they are not intense so I won't post them.

Here are a few of my favorites of Haiko.

I have no pictures from this years hunts. I got lazy.

here is a picture of Haiko's very first point, ever.

Just AWESOME POINT Pics  I just love seeing differnent poses of our GSPs "locked on Point. Another nice reason I love taking the picture GSPs on Point,  the dog is motionless making it a lttle easier to flash the camera if I am close enough Keep the Point Pics coming!!  The Picture of Rocky above won 3rd place in a local Newspaper pic contest a few years ago of our favorite Pets.  We were very happy with 3rd.  Rocky was the only GSP in the contest. A cat beat him out in second place.

Dalmation?  The first time I took Bo to Petsmart, a woman asked me if he was a Chocolate lab/ heeler mix.

He's mostly liver with white ticking on his legs and chest.

Today I took the dogs hiking in the Canyon of the Eagles up by Lake Buchanan.  We hiked up on the Edwards plateau away from the lake.  Ringo found some quail and this is a picture of one of his points.  Later he found another covey, but mom was too far away and he just couldn't hold the point that long so he ended up flushing them before I got up to him.  It was very overcast and drizzly today.

The only down side to where we hiked today were all the prickly pear cactus.  I picked thorns out of the dogs for 2 hours after we got home.

Mase- The markings on your puppy are very very nice. I would of scooped that puppy up in a second based on looks alone........very nice!

Don't have too many of my GSP on point just yet as his hunting exposure has been rather limited. But i do of my Brittany.
