Last night we were watching Ghost Rider. Rusty paused it to let the dogs in and get something to drink. Copper and Bopomer came in the living room and Copper laid down. All the sudden she saw the TV screen, it was a shot of the ghost rider in the motorcycle both in flames. She growled and stood up never taking her eyes off of it. She barked a warning bark and then started to walk up to the TV. Boomer is trying to figure out what is going on and I am trying not to laugh! She continues to watch it, growling and moving so she is standing in front of me and starts to really bark. Rusty finally calls out "what is going on in there". Copper stopped barking but stilll watch the screen growling softly. I was cracking up telling Rusty what happened. He then set the DVD on slow-mo. Copper didn't bark but would look at it and then look away when we laughed. Poor little girl
Ha ha winston growled at the tv once...we were watching a show and at one point to guys got mad and started yelling at one another...Winston didn't like the deep growly voices and his head went up and looked right at the tv and started growling. It was really hard not to laugh.
Another time (a couple months after we got him) we were watching tv and when ever this one charater would speak he would bark (he was in another room on his bed) it was hilarious....someone else would talk and that would be fine but as soon as that one guy talked he'd bark....though he was a little lazy, he'd bark but would get off his bed to see if it was really worth barking
Mother told me a story because she was watching the dog this week (which by the way, she constantly asks me "why don't you just leave her here at the house?" the woman is trying to steal my dog out from under me) Mom says that she laid down on the floor for some reason and Lacey comes up and licks her hands and face, paws at her back, stands on her, etc as though something is wrong and she is trying to revive my mom. The dog never does that for me! Glad to know she has a good instinct and a good heart.
LOL that's one thing they don't look mean at all but that low grumble of a warning growl they give before they start barking cracks me up.
My GSP Scout loves TV.
