Ya -- amazing how tinned or dried food won't get touched, but rice with any meat? Hello! It's actually hard to make rice in the house anymore, cuz Bo things we're cooking him up something special.

Good to hear Adder is on the mend.

The pancreatitis blood test has come back positive. So to keep him fit and well he needs a low fat diet. After years of struggling to find something he'll eat, we have to start all over again! No more cheese, lamb, beef etc. The vet has recommended a prescription dry food which I KNOW he won't touch on it's own so need to mix something meaty with it. I'm thinking chicken or turkey mince? So I now have two dogs on specific diets - Holly (his little sister) is on a strict hypoallergenic diet to rule out food allergies (she is an itchy little dog). At least he's back to his usual bonkers self now.

Poor dog! I would ask Marie what she has been feeding Rocky, because he just had a very similar problem & seems to be thriving on what he is being fed now.

According to our vet, raw beef is relatively low fat, he said that's why our dogs were a slight few pounds lighter than their previous visit. It may depend on the cut but you can trim it as well.
