Thank goodness I have Ringo to remind me why I don't want another puppy right now.   They are so cute and I am glad everything went well.  Get some sleep so you can enjoy those little stinkers.

I am on the same boat as you Rgergundog. I would snatch a solid liver if I could.

Did the vet give her any meds to make sure 100% that all the pups were out?

Brings back memories of this past summer for me..... Love that puppy breath! Enjoy the first few weeks where mom does most of the work. Then the fun starts! They grow up so fast.

Get some much deserved rest.

See as cute as they little hamsters are i am more pleased with them at about 6+ months when the brain is starting to turn on.

My clicker is ive just fallen in love with the soldi liver color on my dog, it shines so nice and the liver fur on his head and even his patches is a softer fur.

But yes thank god i still have fond memories of the potty training, puppy whine at night, wild couch leaping, etc in my mind or I would be on the phone with you already.

I love the puppy stage. It is such a great time of bonding and the learn so fast. We never have puppy crying issues. I too have fallen in love with the solid liver color. My one female is as dark a liver roan as you could get so she is very close to looking solid liver. I just love the SHINE as well. My new black girl has some impressive shine on her black spots as well!

awe. I was amazed that we had so many solid liver pups. They all are doing great. We absolutely love the runt. She is SOO cuddly... But then again we love all 9 of them =] I got some good sleep today but off to work at 10 tonight! (no worries boyfriend will be home to sleep in the room with the pups!)

We aren't planning on keeping any in this litter because I have them already all going to good homes! Yay! However my boyfriend would like to keep all of them... Yeah I don't think he realizes at 6 months we would go clinically insane with 9 pup and another full grown one = 10 GSP's haha. Eventually though we would like something like that. I have more pictures but I am SO exhausted I am headed to bed. Bailey is doing great. Kinda being a pain in the butt at times though cause she doesn't lay all the way out to nurse. But thats okay I will post photos tomorrow!

Here are three photos. Not very good but shows some of them! This weekend we will get individual shots of the pups! I got a full 9 hours of sleep last night. It was WONDERFUL.

Oh and you will notice... That they aren't in their whelping box. Bailey is having a difficult time wanting to be in their now and she prefers to be in the living room with us. Which is okay since its only the Jaymes and I living here so yea. lol

Hello Everyone!

Quick update on the pups! Last night we removed dew claws and docked tails (our friends have owned a kennel for about 40 years their in their 60's and their son who is in their 40's helped) so I learned how to do both and it went VERY well we had little bleeding and the puppies did great, Bailey was really good too. We are on day three and all nine puppies are very healthy. Even the runt =) who btw is our favorite she is such a cuddle bug! Baileys first born is an interesting puppy already. Jaymes was sitting in the room with the pups and Bailey and the first born had manage to already climb over her which made us all laugh. Bailey is doing good. Eating three times a day and I have to say THANK YOU! to Meg. She gave us great quality dog food that has done her really good. We went out today and she ran around a little more today stretched her leg and got some fresh air.

We haven't done any registered names yet. I had some idea's but they don't seem to fit. Any suggestions would be great! I love the feedback on this sight. It makes everything so much fun! I will hopefully get a video of the pups this weekend!

I vote for a 'water' litter theme, given the massive flooding we're experiencing..... :P

Since the Northeast & Northwest seem to be experiencing "Snowmageddon" this winter you could always use a biblical theme, lol. ;) :D

I like the water theme. We walk out into our pasture and we are under three feet of water. Sigh. I was going to ask you Meg what its like out your way. This is just CRAZY! What type of water idea are you thinking?
