Just thought I'd share a photo of Freya, a Deutsch Kurzhaar, and my then 5-year old nephew Theo. Freya belonged to our neighbor in Germany and opened my eyes and heart to this breed. Photo taken in 1997 - Freya has since passed away.
To live without dogs would mean accepting a form of blindness. [Thomas McGuane]
