Had to DRIVE and DRIVE and DRIVE to find this tiny strip of gravely mush... but the kid and I got our first snow run of the season in. The hounds were definately pumped to get back on white stuff even if it wasn't the greatest quality. The turn-around point- we weren't going to ford the creek with the kid in the sled, even if the dogs looked willing! Post-run victory snack: animal crackers and watered down orange juice.

I would have driven miles and miles as well...it just never snows here...GA. Sigh. Looks like you had fun.
