I got up this morning and around 8:00a.m. I went and opened Indy's kennel so he could come out but instead he was very lazy and slow to get up, he was walking listlessly and had his head bowed when usually he would be stretching and then proceed to be very excited to go outside so I immediatly knew he wasn't feeling good, when I let him out he had a very loose stool, very liquidy like water with no solids. i felt the need to go to his  kennel to see if he had any accidents or threw up and I found a small-medium amount of throw up in the corner of his kennel but nothing unusual just looked like his food chewed up. He went right into his kennel afterwards and aside from me insisting he go out for the bathroom all he does is lie down in his kennel. He was just fine yesterday didn't show any signs of being ill or feeling sick, just wanted to play and run!

Yesterday my mom mentioned that he got into my fathers chile plant and even unrooted one and was carrying it around with him like a treat! I'm hoping he just has an unset stomach from the chiles I'm sure he chewed up but can anyone give me advice on how to care for him right now? Should he have no access to food and only water? should I feed him rice to calm his stomach or can I gve him something? If this persist tomorrow I'll be taking him to the vet but for now I want to treat him here.

You can also give a dog Pepto Bismol and/or Immodium.  Calibrate the dose based on his weight. That said though, if he is not better within 24 hours I would take him to the vet.  Also, make sure he is getting water so he doesn't dehydrate. 

My vet uses both and leaves it up to me. I have used both.  I think the Pepto works a little bit better with the dogs, but if you have kaopectate that should help as well.

UPDATE:

Last night I let Indy sleep on my bed with me instead of his kennel so he could be a little more comfy and closer to me. This morning when I got up he was still posted on the bed awake and a bit more energetic than yesterday. I tried to feed him some rice for breakfast but he had none of it. when I took him out to go potty it was the same loose stool as yesterday. He drank water this morning and was fine but a bit ago he drank some water and regurgitated it about 20 minutes later, nothing in it just water.

I called up the vet and they said to bring him in but any vets gonna tell me that. I have no choice but to wait until tomorrow to take him to the vet for a check up and go from there. He isn't as sleepy as yesterday though he did jump on me once or twice and hes got some more pep in his step but you can tell hes still not feeling good. I gave him some pepto so hopefully he feels a bit better until tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply, I don't have an emergency vet here yet because i just moved and don't really know the area. The chiles are from guatemala, my dad brought some seeds with him from his trip so I'm not sure what type they are exactly. I'll keep you all updated.

Some questions and comments: First, the yellow is bile. It means he is totally empty and is bringing up bile from the small intestine (rather than just stomach contents). Bile is very irritating to the GI tract on its way up. Second - have you taken his temp? Third - I would be concerned that he has a blockage somewhere since water stays down a short time and then always comes up. Fourth - he is almost certainly dehydrated by now, perhaps dangerously so. He needs treatment asap.

When you take him to the vet also ask about salmonella.  It has the same symptoms as stomach blockage.  They have to do a culture to check for it and it takes several days.  The vet can start treating for it with a broad spectrum antibiotic.  They can pick up salmonella from just about anything.  Usually it doesn't bother dogs, but sometimes pups and dogs do get it.  I know because it almost killed Belle when she was 6 months old.  Same symptoms as your pup.  Thankfully my vet cultured for it along with other things and then when she started her on an IV for hydration she also started her on a broad spectrum antibiotic.  She recovered thanks to my vet being careful.  Just something to ask, because not all vets will treat for salmonella right away.

The biggest risk to your pup is dehydration.  They can go much longer without eating than they can without drinking.  So, get your dog to the vet asap. Please let us know how things go and good luck. 

I disagree about the pepto, it contains only bismuth and dye. your vet can give you a "special" bismuth for dogs that is white and comes in a few flavours. it is exactly the same as the pink one minus the dye, our vet likes the vanilla one himself.

Peppers are considered a nightshade vegetable and should be avoided by pets as far as I know (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant). If he ate any of the actual plant he could be feeling pretty bad.
