Lowest I've seen down here is 1.87! Doesn't even cost me $20 to fill up my tank!

we're still at about Two twenty a gal for reg unleaded....

We have a grand !!!!!!   gas tax here

we have a small campground, just up our street.....has a little store and a gas station.....the volume they are selling ( very small )....is making them lose almost two bucks a gallon...on todays sales

I really can take this to heart , as I have had a job in the Management area of ( GAS & LIQUOR )   in California.....many many years ago, and the folks that own this campground are neighbors-FRIENDS......They are screwed, sorry that was pretty blunt.....But factual

Here's HOPING for a great turn around in the near future for ALL small town business.............................

We're seeing gas for around $2.45.
Renee',
That is awful about your neighbors loosing that much money! I always try & give my business to the mom & pop businesses in the area, Even if it costs me more. I'm afraid that one day we won't have any choices, we will shop at THE grocery store, buy gas from THE gas station, bank at THE bank, etc.

We have gas for about $2.19 and it continues a rapid drop every day.

I agree with mit and try to buy local as well.  I get my dog food from a local pet store.   We don't have any more mom & pop grocery stores or gas stations in the area.

North Carolina is down to the $2.00 range, but it does me no good where I am at right now. The people here pay about 5 dollars a liter.

we have a couple small "we call party stores here". Where you can get gas, food, movies, clothes, and all kinds of hardware & misc car stuff "fuses, fuel filters, hoses& clamps etc...". I love it because it is only around 2 miles from home and we are really in the sticks here. So short drive and super convenient. My wife usually goes rather than me cause I am friends with the owners and we get talking. Next thing you know; wife is calling. "where are you?". I get a bit chatty at times! LOL!!

I just paid $1.74 for gas! Not even $15 to fill up my tank!

I keep telling myself not to get used to this though.. sure is a nice break though from the higher prices.

Out side of St. Louis I've seen it as low as 1.37.  Of course I filled up just before this last price drop.

1.59 in Salt Lake City, UT. Low prices are great, but not the solution... Until we have a viable alternative we will continue to be at the mercy of the Oil Companies.
