Hi everyone,

Urban Hounds and AVID are sponsoring German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue PA's microchip clinic in Trappe (SE PA) on Saturday, November 1st, from 9 am through 3 pm. Urban Hounds is located at 1639 West Main Street in Trappe.

All dog breeds are welcome and the TOTAL cost is $35 which includes chip insertion, paperwork as well as registration with AVID. The forms are sent to AVID right after the event for prompt registration with your details, your secondary contact and your vet's info. Some folks asked if GSP Rescue were a contact on the registration form and we are not - this is a service to you and direct registration of your dog/s with AVID.

Please consider this permanent method of identification to protect your hunting dog from theft, or if lost on a scent and ends up in a pound or shelter. AVID provides scanners to veterinarians, animal control, shelters and nonprofit rescues to scan for microchips on incoming dogs.

Reserving a time and microchip for your dog(s) is encouraged but not required. Joyce at Supermomjh@aol.com is accepting reservations Proceeds go towards the German Shorthaired Pointers' direct dog/vetting care in PA's program.
