Effy is being trained to sell as "Started" this Spring/early Summer.
"Started" basically meaning house trained, crate trained, respectable response to the basics of Come, Whoa and Heel; Gun and Collar conditioned and staunch on birds.
She's actually pretty steady to wing on her birds now, as you can tell by the fact I was able to take several pix on point!! |

Yes, very nice point. I usually get ready to take the pic and they'll move on me as they think I am trying to flush the bird. I know we need to work on that this summer. I am trying to get some good pics of mine on point for my website my friend is making for me. I can't wait!
She is a great looking girl you have there! I love the tall tail like that. |

Yesterday we went to the lake for the first time since the ice melted. Layla was very excited about the birds (it's a wetlands bird sanctuary, perfect place for two bird dogs, right?) and didn't know what to think about the peepers. Daniel just wanted to swim & swim & swim some more.

Took this one this morning. I could take essentially the same picture every day inside or outside the house. Hans is completely and totally obsessed with his tennis balls! Every time I sit down at the computer to do anything he drops a ball at my feet, backs off a couple of feet and waits for me to throw it down the hallway. If I don't throw it he eventually comes up and puts his head in my lap (where it is right now) and gives me that LOOK - you know the one...

 Here's some pics. First is stud pointing, after that is a wrestle match where he gets his but kicked by Doddi
 someone driving by may have thought we were doing dog fights but these two are a riot. Stud always gets rolled by her. They play this way all the time. This was my eye witness of the attack ha ha
