Molly with her "barkie" collar. Usually dead but effective.

I had to add this. This was Molly's first "bird". She finally got big enough to get up on the edge of the pond and destroy it . |

Molly is the most beautiful GSP Girl I have ever seen!!!! What a beautiful Pup pictures too. Interesting how in the Pup pictures her ticking is faint and as an adult girl, her ticking is more pronounced. Looks like you have a nice secure fenced in back yard for her too. She is a lovely girl and must bring alot of joy to your family |

| If you look on the back of the fence you will notice some new boards. Every once in a while she decides to invite the neighbor's dog down to play. |

This is my GSP Rescue Jasmine, she was at a local animal control when I bailed her out, she's the most energetic love

This is our 1/2 GSP Abby. Her mom was a GSP foster who delivered 7 surprise pups in our house. Abby has a deformed paw and we kept her, she will most likely have her leg amputated later this year.
This is my GSP Simon. He's from some lovely lines and is an INTENSE dog! He's sweet and loving but needs her exercise or he can get a little hyper-focused. Not HYPER -- he'll just start fixating on things, so we ensure he gets lots of running, fetch, walks etc a day, he is great

And last this is my entire pack! These are my guys and in addition to them I usually have a few foster dogs around. My pack is pretty great |

We went to the Wiggle Waggle Walkathon with our Bogart yesterday ... a 5K dog walk in support of our local Humane Society. We happened upon a 10 year old GSP with 3 legs who was moving just as well as all the others. I'm sure it isn't an easy decision to amputate, but I'm sure your girl will adjust with your love and dedication. Some of the rescue stories I heard yesterday made my stomach turn. Keep up the good work! |

| She is one of the sweetest, most gentle pups ever! Don't get me wrong with the other dogs she plays like a banshee but then she hops up next to me on the couch and snuggles in. She's a good girl! |

Ace1cappucino Do any of your dogs have the Rawhides Clown bloodline. The one in the middle looks so much like Molly. Clown is a great-grandfather on both sides of Molly's pedigree along with Stradivarius Baroque. She really has a bird instinct and the sweetest disposition but is totally bull-headed when fixated on something she is after--thus the e-collar a lot of the time. It doesn't even have to be turned on, if it's there she minds. |

I finally got some pictures of my new rescue dog Layla scanned in (I really need to go digital one of these days!).
I tried for some action shots in the yard, but my camera is too slow to catch more than a GSP-colored blur!
The first is Layla with her "cousin" Amelia, two days after she got spayed (hence the sleepy dog pose):

The next two are Daniel & Layla playing. Daniel has the liver "saddle" on
his back & a liver tail with a skunk stripe up the back. Layla has a mostly
white tail with a big liver spot at the base.

And then we have them sleeping on their couch after a good day of playing:

OMG -- I soooo want the sleeping dog pose. We are desperately trying to teach Bo how to sleep outside his crate. Right now he's a great sleeper, but only in his crate. We would like to have him free to sleep beside us when we work at home, but all he does is get bored and wander ... even WHILE he's yawning.
BTW -- they're both gorgeous! |

Love the photos! I've noticed that some of you take photos and have your dogs' eye color show up, rather than just a glassy reflection. How do you do that? I thought it was just how dogs' eyes showed up in pictures, but now I think it is my bad photography skills. I'd love to get some photos of Maggie that show her eyes as I see them. Any suggestions? |

| Take pictures in well lit locations and turn off the flash. |

| I have a red eye reducer flash option on my camera, so I use that and it works just as well on dogs as it does on people. |
