So this afternoon I will finally get to meet my new puppy.  I am stopping by the breeders house on the way to the Reliant dog show in Houston.  I am 99% sure at this point that Johnny Ringo will be white boy.  He has turned into a beautiful boy with a great personality.  Here  are two pictures taken at 6 weeks:

Sunday on the way home from the dog show I will pick him up.  I am taking Monday off to play with Ringo.  The nice part about getting a puppy this time is I now work from home.  Makes it allot easier.

Wow, he is handsome!!! What will the girls think? I just unleashed another one on my older dogs, and I have the 5 month old. My 11 year old has had enough. He just keeps going and sleeping in the crate (he hasn't done that in years) to get away from her!

Isn't it funny how the new pups just love the older ones. Hunter would just growl but when he realized it wasn't working at all he just ran into my daughters room and hid on her bed. That worked for a few months anyways.
T.B- Congrats! He is a very good looking boy. I hope he doesn't terrorize Halo & Belle too much!

Well I finally got to meet Ringo last night.  Even though he was sleepy from playing with his brothers and sisters all day, he wanted to play.  We went out in my breeders backyard and he wasn't afraid of anything.  I guess the best way to describe his personality is he's a corker.  He was very outgoing and wanted to explore everything.  He was minus his collar and the breeder said he broke the collar that day rough housing with his littermates.  I have a collar for him, but of course I left it at home.  So, I got a collar for him at the dog show today.  I sure did want to take him with me, but hotels and puppies are not really a good combo.  So, I have to be patient one more day while Halo and I continue to hunt for that last elusive major. I will post pictures as soon as I get him home and have a chance to take some.

Best of luck to Halo!!! probably a good idea you didn't get the puppy, it would have distracted Halo, and you need that champion well rested and focused!

He is such a handsome pup!

How did you do at the show today?  I had family come from out of town so I wasn't able to make it (although I did get my grandfather to install my new awesome doggy door!).

I'll definitely be there tomorrow, though.  Maybe with family in tow (hoping to get my little brother crazy about either dogs or horses--those are his options ;)).

Halo didn't do anything today.  With her it is either feast of famine.  Today was famine.  Oh well, maybe tomorrow.  And if not,  I still get my pup tomorrow.  Look for me tomorrow.  Halo shows in the Open bitches class and I will have on black slacks and a bright red sleeveless summer suit jacket.  I have badge 24.

Hope you and family can make it tomorrow.

Watch your pup with the doggy door, Belle figured out she could hit ours with her foot and knock it out.  The result was she could get in or out at will.  I ended up getting a new door sans doggy door as I was afraid she was going to let our indoor cats outside.  Plus I work from home now and don't really need the doggy door.

I am sure you are in heaven with the pup.  My new baby was born last week and I am going nuts waiting for the pictures.  My breeder is in Massachusetts and will fly the pup out to Alaska in mid-September.  Just in time to do some outdoor training before the snow flies.

So, for Halo, no majors last weekend, but she sure did show her heart out.  I was very proud of how she did.  See Somer's thread on show dog pictures to see her in action.

Yes, Johnny Ringo is home and he has been keeping me hopping.  This is the first chance I have had to get on and read posts since I got home on Sunday.  I have a few picts to post, but have to get them downloaded from the camera.  I hope to have some time tomorrow to do that.  He is great and really smart.  He knows to go to the back door and bark or whine when he needs to go out, but as with all youngsters he sometimes waits too long. He is doing really well with learning his name and we had no problems with the leash the first two times I tried him on one.  His favorite thing to do in the backyard is to find dove feathers and bring them to me. He loves his big sisters, Belle and Halo.  Belle and Halo have corrected him a few times, but he diserved it and they are all working out their roles.  Today, Belle finally came over and took the tug toy from me when I was playing with him and she then played with him.  She has also allowed him to climb on her and in general they are playing very well.  When Ringo gets a bit to boisterous, Belle just moves him aside with her foot.  His favorite thing with Halo is to follow her around and watch her get after squirrels.  She has already taught him to go in out my Mom's doggy door and to drink out of our fountain (he has to stand on his hind legs and lean to get to the water).

I will post some more tomorrow and get pictures posted too.

Glad to hear he is doing well. Don't forget to stock up on the band aids. You know it's coming.
