Oh funny story I have to share! Last night I half woke to hear Remi making a racket in my room....it sounded like he was shaking one of his toys or something....weird at 2:15am but hey 1 expliantion is good enough when your not really awake. So being the nice oger I am in the middle of the night I told him gruffly to settle down and go back to bed. I don't remember hearing anything else for the next 15-20min until I half woke again only to hear him sobbing something aweful....not a peircing whine just a quiet mournful little cry. I thought "oh well maybe he needs to go out" so I turned the light on rolled over expecting to see those 'I need to GO' gsp eyes and saw nothing...looked on the otherside of the bed...saw nothing. Then I looked to the other side again and just saw his back feet sticking out from under the bed!! The poor guy had somehow gotten himself stuck under there, tried thrashing his way out ("go back to bed Remi"..?..rollseyes what a pal I am!) and thought he was going to be stuck under there forever. I actually had to lift the side of the bed up so he could get out! And boy was he ever happy to get out too, he started spinning in circles! Well that's my laugh for the day...poor guy ...I still don't know how or why he got under there!
Try waking up at night and being unable to move at all! Only to find two furry and warm bodies sleeping tightly against you. How they got on the bed without my girlfriend or me waking up I can't understand. The youngest Mike was a weekly culprit, usually snuggled in with his best friend the siamese cat Carly.
Oh Diamond, we had nights with our last dog Snickers who got stuck under the bed making us get up and lift the whole side of the bed in the air so she could scoot out from under Solution, before we bought a higher off the ground bed was to put wood blocks under all four feet of the bed to raise it up. Rocky saw Snickers stuck under the bed so he has never tried it
Oh, no! That's terrible. Funny, but terrible. Did you feel guilted into tossing him some bacon into his breakfast the next morning?
What a little trooper...
This is BED RELATED, although not a GSP, my last Lab, Deuce slept in the headboard book case area of our bed...As well as getting stuck under the bed, except I always seemed to catch him B4 he was all the way under, and of coarse all his toys and balls rolled under the bed, just out of my reach
