Glad to hear Salley is doing well. I went through the bed rest thing with Belle when she tore her bicep tendon and had to have surgery. She couldn't do anything for 5 weeks . For her the vet recommended physical therapy and they did swimming in the water tank and treadmill. So, I would think the walking would be great. I would start her slow on the running. If you have access to a swimming area, that is great exercise too. She will probably be fine, just watch her for any signs of soreness or injury, and take it slow. I know that is easier said than done with a GSP .
It must be a guy thing (no offense to the guys on this forum), my husband is the same way with my girls when they are injured. He doesn't help. They look at him and act ok so he thinks just a little play would be ok, and mom has to be the big meany and say no.
Flowers for Salley fast continue healing from Rocky's backyard Go girl!!! you will soon be zoomie, zoomie soon like us GSPs should be
