Welcome to
shorthairs.net
We finally got Bean's agility set together...It is a cheapo....she already bent the tube/tire obstacle...BUT she went thru it the very first try, and it is small...I thought NO WAY, when I saw it after Greg had it put together..but she went through perfectly..it was later when she was acting a bit silly, she clipped it and bent the tube...I'm going to come up with a better quality replacement SOON since she seems to really enjoy the challenges
SO FAR I have not attempted the weave poles...I'm almost afraid of it myself
She's done the tube, the jump, and the tunnel ( 3 footer ) FUNNY thing is she's not happy about sitting in the box...OF ALL THIINGS huh ?....SO here are a couple pics...I'll get some IN ACTION shots, when I have camera help

I got it on line
agility in a bag...If you'd like ...I could look it up and send you a PM...I had posted it awhile back in a couple threads...but not sure which ones
It is set up so you can easily transport it in a bag...to take to parks and such....

Day Two
After her 2 hr walk, an hour rest & a 5 minute ball toss...we began day two training. Bean has never been motivated by treats...so much BUT after not being able to hold her attention AT ALL, I cut up some jerky... HMMMMMM worked pretty well
I did some leash work, getting her used to the BOX command....then all seemed to be going along smoothly, I linked her commands, and leash walked her through BOX-JUMP-TUBE, she seemed to do well. Then began acting up..chewing at her leash and jumping up
I'd read somewhere, that during Agility training, there should be NO NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
I find it really hard to NOT CORRECT her when she won't mind
ANY ideas or suggestions ?
