Last night during a dinner party I was petting the dogs and discovered a tick on GS.  He stood still with my arms around him, while one of my guest poked and prodded, put a cigarette to the tick, and rubbed olive oil on the freeloading insect.  Took about 5 minutes to get the entire tick out and GS never moved or whine or anything.  He is so special to me.
