As many of you have noticed, I'm not able to check on the forum as much as I used to.  The real crime is that I don't get to spend as much time with the dogs as I'd like (although I can report that Maddie won another show).

I'll try to check in more often and keep things running, but I do want to let everyone that has written me (and it is quite a few) regarding some problems here.  I will take steps to make sure the board stays friendly.  I also do encourage all to email me if you believe there is a questionable post.  Please include enough info so I can find the thread easily.

I do want to remind everyone though that by the very nature of this medium, it is easy to misconstrue meaning or intent sometimes.  When posting here, posts should address the topic, not the individual posting.  You should also not post anything you wouldn't say to someone in person.  Keep in mind that some topics are going to be controversial, and discussion can get heated.  As long as the discussion stays on topic I'll typically allow them to run their course.  As soon as it turns personal, I'll take steps to stop it.  Disagreements are common and both sides need to remember that disagreeing with ideas is not the same as a personal attack.

First congrats to Maddie.  Thanks so much for the website and the work you do to maintain it.  I am  sure I speak for everyone on the board when I say we appreciate what you do.
