For two days a lost parakeet has been hanging around and Chelsea is OBSESSED with it.  She follows it from tree to tree, yipping, jumping, and just staring with that hungry, lips-back grin that I find so unattractive   She will completely ignore sparrows and finches right under her nose in favor of that darn parakeet. 

WHY?  It doesn't make much noise and although it is mostly yellow, she can't be responding to that, can she?
