I went to the spare room this morning, where I keep all OUR walking supplies..shoes/coats/leashes/ipods/ you name it.....It's actually doggie central  LOL

I grabbed my reflective vest, and noticed it was hanging kind of ODDLY on the chair.... It is an actual motorcyce reflective vest with laces on each side,  we are military, and one requirement to access military bases ( on a motorcycle ) , is to have the PROPER reflective attire.. It works well for walking, since it is light weight and has pockets for ID and I POD

imagine my surprise to find only one side had the laces in tact    The other side was heavily chewed and hanging by a thread.....HOW could this be ?????

One word BEAN...I did not take her on her walk yesterday HMMMMMM  the vest was in perfect condition Monday on our walk......She hasn't been a chewer.....

So I'm thinking that was just pure BRAT-ITTUDE.....

I didn't see her do it so I didn't correct her ( per say )...BUT I did ask her if she knew anything about it          She pretty much just looked away .......YOU know that look

Once again she poured on the I'm so cute.....and off we went for our walk...ME in a way too warm coat.....LOL

I think you need to change the tiara to devil's horns.

Oh, no--naughty Bean!

Looks like your little princess should trade in her crown for a dunce's cap.  Off to the corner!

Love your new avatar, by the way.

Looks like we were typing at the same time, TB.  But you're definitely right--devil's horns are definitely called for in this situation!

Renee,

I was going to start a similar thread today after Ladybug and Duke successfully unstuffed the stuffed toy pheasant!  Here is the 'look' from Ladybug this morning!  You really can't be mad can you? HAHAHA

jdavis -  Halo makes it "snow" at our house all the time.  I just pick up the stuffing and put it back into the unstuffed animal so she can pull it out again. She has pheasants, duck, greed dog, etc.  I did find some animals with no stuffing that work pretty good.  They are made by Coleman and a bit expensive, but they have lasted for quite a while now.

Bev,

You are a braver soul than I!  I hate cleaning up messes like this so I would never ever ever ever want to do it more than I have to!  Although I would rather clean it up than a couch.  Last night, Duke gave me a scare.  I did not know he had such a sock fetish and I had taken off my socks right before bed and left them on the floor.  A little bit later, I heard this gagging and I went to investigate.  I saw the sock sticking out of his mouth and gave him the 'leave it' command.  He tried unsucessfully and I told him again.  He tried again and couldn't do it.  I got a hold of it and pulled it out of his mouth... and his throat!  It was pretty scary once I realized what was happening.  It was really gross through with the amount of slobber that was on it.  I would say that if the sock was a foot long, he had maybe 2 inches sticking out of his mouth.  I immediately 'Duke proofed' the house and will make sure my socks are not accessible.

That about covers my last day in GSP world!

LMAO Wachter got a hold of the brand new 24 roll package of toilet paper while I was away working one day.. by the time I got home he had shredded them all over the house every single one except the 2 I had in the bathroom. My house looked like it had snowed inside. He greeted me at the door amidst all the mess with the biggest smile on his face. He has done the same thing with the paper in the shredder bin.

Miss Bean looks so sweet even with devil's horns on. It really does make you think that they have the power to reason things out. I'd say she is a pretty smart (if some what mischievous) pup.

That picture with the stuffing all over the floor could be my house.  They love those toys.  They play tug o war and it's only a matter of time.  The toy ends up eviscerated!

Halo amputates legs or wings depending on the stuffed animal and then pulls out the "snow."  I restuff them (just push the fuzzy stuff back in the holes left from the amputations so I don't have to buy new ones.  Plus she just loves to pull that stuffing out.

spots - In Halo's case it isn't boredom or lack of exercise.  She unstuffs toys even when she comes back from long play sessions or bike riding with Mom.  She just likes to unstuff them.  She doesn't mess with pillows or furniture though because she has plenty of stuffed toys in the doggy toy box.

Osiris goes straight for the nose of his stuffed animals. He will chew that off and then the head. And he, too, loves to extract the stuffing and carry around the "carcass."

Once while I was in the shower, Osiris got ahold of one of my Nike shoes and chewed the heel off. When I got out of the shower and found him with it, I wanted to yell at him, but he was laying on the floor with my shoe cradled in his paws, his chin resting on it and looking at me with his puppy-dog eyes. It was cute and frustrating at the same time.

He also took the liberty of eating my leather blackberry case while I was in a store. He was sitting up in the front seat with it proudly waiting for me when I came out. I was pi**ed, but what can ya do? It was my fault for leaving it out.

Here is a pic of him after shredding his toys.... This is the kind of mess he likes to make.

Sounds like Bean was mad that she didn't get her walk.

Geeze, one day I slid on my hooded, front pocket rescue sweatshirt to go on a mission, and my cell phone kept falling out? Then I noticed some dirtbag ate the pocket up, musta hung it up with treats in the pocket, and someone or two, took it upon themselves to chew my pocket out to get them!
