I like light green male but they're all cute. His pigment is very dark and I like a solid liver head. It' still hard to tell. Are you looking for another dog to do obedience, flyball etc? Attitude will be important in your choice.

On here is my thoughts on the white and lt blue... the markings on their faces are not symmetrical, where on light green it is. I am not sure if you are going to show him.. and I am not by any chance experienced in shows.. but don't they want symmetry on the markings, especially around the face?

carlower1 - The standard has nothing in it about symmetry and I know they do not pay attention to that as Halo has a white smudge on her nose that is not symmetrical.  That said you still have to pay attention to the markings as sometimes that can create an optical illusion.  For instance, a dog who has a patch on the back may look sway back even if they are not sway back.  So, the markings are important, and that is one of the things I will be looking at when I do my final selection.  My breeder says she is going to stack the pups for the 4 week old pictures.  That should prove interesting.

What's White's personality like?

Still my favorite!  Unless he's really shy or something.

So, the pups are now 5 1/2 weeks old and we have pretty much narrowed it down to Lt Blue or White, with White right now a bit ahead.  I will see the pups in a couple weeks when I go down to Reliant in Houston and on the way home will probably bring our new pup home with me as he will be right at 8 weeks and it will save me another trip down to Houston in a week and with the cost of gas that will be a good thing.  Here is a link to the 5 week stacked puppy pictures and also a couple of extras that the breeder sent me.  Right now she says all the boys except lt green have really great personalities. They introduced them to birds this week and they showed some interest.  Here is the link to the web page:  www.madronegsps.com/index_files/Page501.htm

Here a group shot of seven of the pups.  The one in the back left (you can't see his head or tail) is white and the one in front with the bird is Lt Blue.

Here is another shot of White where you can see his face. A little sleepy eyed after playing with birds.

Carrie -

I made a mistake on who is who in the group photo.  The pup with the bird is purple girl.  Light blue is the one next to her that I thought was dark blue. Sorry to disappoint.  The breeder said that purple was the birdiest at least this weekend.

LOL Belle..

Thats ok... his eyes are still on the bird and look at that expression... He has that same sad/determined look my kids get when the other sibling has something they want and are about to go for it and grab it from his sister :D Sorry he is STILL my favorite male of the bunch. I just love his expressions, so I will keep cheering for him (pulling out cheer leading ponpons)

Well it looks like Ringo is going to be White boy.  I have had my eye on him from the start. The breeder evaluated them today and said he has the best form and personality.  His has been outgoing and fun loving from the start and his personality has stayed constant.  Dark blue has too long a body and will probably sell as a pet.  Lt Green has come around personality wise and has nice form, but he does not have the flash that white has.  Lt Blue has gotten really timid and  does not have the form.  Here are the latest puppy pics.

www.madronegsps.com/index_files/Page501.htm

I will get to see them for the first time this coming Friday as I am going to stop and spend the afternoon with the breeder on my way to the Reliant show in Houston.  I will be bringing Ringo home with me on Sunday when I head back to Austin.

I can't get your link to the breeders site to work. I googled and can't get the site to work at all.

Try the link again.  They were updating the site with stacked pictures as well as action shots.
