Without me even realizing it, my Blaze has done it once again! On Sat I went to check my mail & noticed a large envelope sticking out from UKC. There was a certificate with Blaze's name on it! My Blaze finished her United weight pull versatile title! I must have not calculated her points right because I thought she still needed a few more before she would have that title. She's now officially the 1st & ONLY GSP to obtain a UWP (united weight pull) Championship & now the 1st & ONLY GSP to ever have a UWP Versatile title! I would love to see more GSPs out there following in her paw prints & trying weight pull & getting titles even if it's only the UWP title. Maybe Blaze can set a trend with being the 1st ever to compete in this sport & title in it. We have another pull coming up soon which will give her the final points needed to have obtained every title in weight pull except the supreme which she only needs a few more snow points for. This will mean she's the 1st GSP to get every title there is in weight pull, ever! She has also managed to make it to the All Stars in UKC for 2007. She is currently the 1st GSP to ever make it to ALL Stars too! Once again, I'm sooo very proud of my girl!

Congratulations. It is always neat to be the first to break new ground. Seems like there is not much that this breed cannot do. It is also great that you are willing to help out the new owners with advice.

I have great links on my site with lots of weight pull training tips & also where to get a nice harness. As for the hunt tests, if I can afford it, I plan on entering 2 more tests to try to get her last 2 legs done so she can have her title. She currently has 2 legs towards her junior title.

I was googling Dog Weight pulling and i saw this link and I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about blaze recently? I never see any posts from this owner and was wondering if people still kept in touch with them. Wondering how blaze is getting on with pulling

Rebecca posts from time to time over on FB, and she has pictures of her dogs in her photos and she has some nice pictures of Blaze out there too.
